![]() ![]() ![]() One area which is quite concerning is the VIDEO_TS data information is located at two entirely different sector locations on each DVD? Putting the two data files sides by side and using simple software to compare the two (ExamDiff.exe), the differences between the Good and Bad can be easily seen.Since tried another Author program DVD Flick from the original TMPGEnc DVD, same problem seen.A work round would be to burn the using version 8, which works a treat.Trying for a refund but not much action on that either at the moment. I have two files which capture these differences if you are interested. The sector address's which have different information between the Good and Bad disks range from 0X00008000 to 0X0008D840. The analysed data shows that the Video data on both disks, from 0X0008D841 onwards is identical but the "Glue" added to the front of this data informing the players of what is coming etc is very different. ![]() To prove the point I re-ran the exercise which ended with the same result, pointing to BS9, the newcomer, as being the problem source.I used "Hex Editor Neo" to scan the Good DVD burned on (BS8) and compared this against the Bad DVD from (BS9). I burned the same Authored video to –RW DVD media and found to my surprise that this would not play on the Sony player but would play on the Xbox and Pc's. Being happy with the result I decided to purchase your latest version Burning Studio 9.21 (BS9) and installed this on my XP32 machine. The DVD played happily on PC's, Xbox and my Sony RDR-HXD995 stand alone player/recorder which is a fairy new model accepting most optical formats. Using Burning Studio 2008 (BS8) on my XP64 bit machine, I burned a –RW DVD. ![]() Problem:I edited and authored a 3GB video which provided VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders with associated BUP, IFO and VOB files. Major Problem with Burned DVD - will not play on Sony RDR HXD995. ![]()
